The Learning Academy Partnership have an exciting opportunity for a class teacher to join our Trust, based at Lifton Community Academy.
Our academy is a unique village school close to the Cornish border, set within extensive grounds, including a forest school and outdoor classroom. All our colleagues are dedicated to the development of our children in the fullest sense possible and we pride ourselves on putting children first in every aspect of school life.
Our vision for our academy is: ‘Building a stronger future together’.
Our school values of ‘belong’, ‘wonder’, ‘kindnesses and ‘resilience’ underpin all we do. We are proud of how we work together in our wider school community, and as part of our West Devon hub. We are on an exciting journey of collaboration, sharing best practice and expertise to enable all children to live life to the fullest. We look forward to the successful applicant joining our school family and working collectively to provide the best possible provision for our children!
We are looking for a Class Teacher to join us in Reception/Year 1, and Year 5 who can provide a range of enriching experiences and opportunities for all, removing barriers to learning so every child can flourish. This is an incredibly rewarding role where no day is ever the same. You will work alongside a highly passionate team to ensure children are cared for, inspired, and challenged.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a wider team of teachers, not just within our Hub, but across the entire Trust. We are proud that we are a single organisation with a shared responsibility for all children, and one where you will feel professionally nourished through our extensive development practice and strong wellbeing offer.
We are proud that our People strategy enables us to nurture, develop and support our colleagues so that they can provide the very best for our children. We are dedicated to building an authentic workforce and we encourage applications from people from all backgrounds and aim to have a workforce that represents the wider communities that we serve. We champion diversity, inclusion and wellbeing and aim to create a workplace where everyone feels valued and a sense of belonging.
Our School Trust is underpinned by our four core beliefs; we are stronger together, a sense of belonging; removing barriers and realising the possible. This means that by working collectively, we can achieve our absolute best to ensure that children, especially the most vulnerable, can flourish. In short, our ethos is one of working together to Empower, Excel, Together.
We can offer you:
• The opportunity to make a profound different to children’s lives
• A culture that takes work-life balance extremely seriously for all its colleagues
• The chance to work as part of a collective in a values-led school Trust, a single organisation
• High quality professional development and regular training
