At Westbank, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Childcare Manager to lead our Kidzone provision – a well-established, Ofsted-registered Nursery, Pre-School, After School and Holiday Club catering for children aged 0–12 years.
What you will be doing:
- Managing day-to-day operations of our bustling Kidzone setting
- Leading, inspiring and developing a dedicated team of childcare professionals
- Ensuring our provision is safe, inclusive and aligned with Ofsted and EYFS standards
- Overseeing budgets, admin, safeguarding, and quality standards
- Driving the growth and development of the service through effective planning and marketing
What we are looking for:
We will be shortlisting on the following criteria so please use the supporting statement to evidence how you meet these:
- Childcare qualification or NVQ in Play work (Level 3) or above
- Experience managing a team in a childcare setting
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
- A hands-on, positive and proactive approach to children’s care and development
- Previous experience of caring for, or working with, children aged 0-12
- Knowledge of Ofstead standards, safeguarding and early years frameworks
- Understanding of principles of confidentiality and equal opportunities
- Experience of using MS Office packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook
