Catering Assistant - Newton St Cyres Primary School (Exe Valley Federation)

The Executive Headteacher and Governors of the Exe Valley Federation wish to appoint a Catering Assistant to transport meals daily from Newton St Cyres Primary School to Brampford Speke School and to then to serve the meals at Brampford Speke School.

You will need to be an enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard-working individual who can assist our kitchen manager in providing high quality meals for our students.

You will need to have an appreciation for the challenges of working in a busy kitchen and be willing to carry out a variety of roles that may change on a day-to-day basis. Ideally, previous catering experience and a Level 2 food safety would be an advantage, although training will be given.

You will be based at Newton St Cyres/Brampford Speke School and will be expected to work from 11.15am - 1.15pm, Monday - Friday.

Mileage for transporting meals between the two schools can be claimed on a monthly basis.
