Exeter Learning Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a catering assistant to be part of our schools dynamic catering team. We are looking for someone who can develop strong, positive relationships, be flexible and enjoy working as part of a team.
This will be a permanent, part time post. The role would suit someone with experience in a catering environment however full training can be given. You will work as part of a team, under the direction of the Bowhill Kitchen Manager.
The majority of your shift will, initially, be based at St Thomas Primary School.

The main purpose of the role would be to assist in the service of food to pupils and maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, dining room and food service areas. Some basic food preparation will also be required.
Ideally we would be looking for someone who is also able to transport food between Bowhill Primary and St Thomas Primary School. This would be on a working pattern of 11.15am – 1.45pm Monday to Friday (12.5 hours per week).
Alternatively we could consider someone who cannot transport food, in which case the working pattern would be 11.30am – 1.30pm Monday to Friday (10 hours per week).
