We are looking to recruit a flexible Caretaker to join the Marine Academy Plymouth Campus, which caters for children and young people aged 2-19 years in Marine Academy Primary and Marine Academy Plymouth.
The role will be to work 37 hours per week. You will be expected to work shifts between the hours of 7am and 7pm (this will consist of alternating weekly to either start at 7am or finish at 7pm).
The main aspects of the role will be to assist with the general security and maintenance of the Campus. Ideally, we are looking for somebody with previous experience of working with children, of all ages, in an educational setting, although this is not essential. The successful candidate will have previous experiences of building maintenance and knowledge of basic plumbing, joinery, electrical and decorating repair.
You will have 5 - 6 weeks holidays per year, plus bank holidays and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.
