Our school is an over subscribed and thriving Special School, based in Barnstaple, North Devon. We cater for children aged 5-16 with complex SEND needs, all of whom have Communication and Interaction needs and are working significantly below age related expectations academically. All of our students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
We are looking to employ a Caretaker to ensure Lampard Community School site is a safe and welcoming environment for staff, students and visitors.
You will responsible for:
- Upkeep of the premises, opening and locking up doors and gates
- Ensure faults are rectified in a timely and safe manner
- Make sure the site is kept clean, tidy, safe and running smoothly
- Always keeping in line with cleaning best practice and health and safety regulations.
- Variety of DIY, building and ground maintenance
You will need to be flexible, be able to work in a team as well as under their own initiative.
