Caretaker - Cullompton Community College
- Multiple Locations
- Part Time
- £11.18 - £11.59 per hour (£21,575 - £22,369 FTE)

Due to the retirement of a longstanding member of our team, we have had a change in structure and are looking for one more caretaker to join our Premises Team. You will help keep the premises and site well maintained, safe and secure to ensure a welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. You will work an alternating shift pattern and will need some flexibility to cover absences, events, lettings and contractor requirements. There is potential for the shift arrangement to be negotiable and regular hours arranged, subject to meeting the school needs as required, so please contact us if you would like to discuss this further. If you are practical, have a good general knowledge of building maintenance (or you are willing to learn) and you are able to use your own initiative, we look forward to hearing from you.
Cullompton Community College is a successful and happy school where above all we value trust, good relationships, respect and kindness. We aim to create a safe, caring and orderly environment in which effective learning takes place and we are proud that our outcomes and external evaluations show that we have maintained a very good education and high standards of achievement and progress over time.
The school had a full graded OFSTED inspection in September 2022 and achieved another very strong Good outcome. If you are keen to work in an inspirational and passionate school that puts students at the heart of everything, we would welcome your application.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
This role requires a DBS disclosure.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
As part of our due diligence process when shortlisting, we may carry out an online search of publicly available material to identify any incidents or issues which we might want to explore with the applicant at interview.
