Eat That Frog (ETF) is a successful and growing social enterprise providing education, training and mentoring to help people overcome the barriers they face in life. Working with over 1,000 people a year across the South West, we are commissioned by the government, local authorities and charitable grants as well as having several social enterprise projects. ETF is an award winning organisation that offers life changing results to people who need help to overcome barriers. Our wider group of companies includes a charity “The Learning Curve” and our Spanish company “Eat That Frog S.L. (Based in Gran Canaria)
Each centre is a business in its own right and as such this role will manage the business function, planning and delivery to meet contracts, monitoring and adjusting budgets and resources.
About you:
We are looking for somebody degree educated (or equivalent) with a demonstrable track record of work in Business Management, able to oversee the work of professional and administrative staff to ensure clear and concise communications, auditable administration, high quality teaching/learning focused on outcomes for people.
The successful candidate will be expected to operate flexibly in meeting the needs of the business, our learners and customers. Must be able to promote business services through attendance at network meetings, manage a volunteer timetable for community activities, be able to check learner progress providing guidance to teaching/learning staff and to maintain quality of provision through IQA.
Must also have excellent interpersonal skills, experience in managing of local centre teams to include delivery and business support staff. Must have experience of working with the SENCO to meet specific requirements of participants with special educational needs.
Level 4 qualification in Business /Finance is essential as well as Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy.
Award in Education and Training Level 4 is desirable as well as IAG Level 4, Assessors Award and Safeguarding Level 3.
