We are seeking to recruit Business Intelligence Analyst’s to join the Education/Early Help business intelligence, systems and contracts team within Devon County Council.

The Education/Early Help team have accelerated in transforming data and intelligence reporting via data visualisation platforms. The role will be primarily focussed on Power BI, Power Platform, Data Lineage and developing our Azure reporting instance.

Ideally suited to existing data and intelligence staff looking for the next step in their development or newly qualified IT professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop and refine their skills whilst building on the ever-changing direction of data and intelligence.

The postholder will work to develop a strong performance culture with robust, accurate and rapid access to data at the fingertips of managers and staff across multiple areas of work.

This is an exciting time of development within Devon County Council, transforming to use the latest technology (Power BI, Azure, focusing on the Microsoft BI Stack) and shifting our focus from simply serving data to instead being an analytical partner for the services we support.

Experience of Power BI, DAX, M query and SQL is essential. Power Automate,  Power Apps and Data Lineage mapping is desirable.

Experience of data warehousing designing ELT/ETL solutions with Azure data factory/data lake would also be beneficial as well as prior experience of implementing and developing business intelligence services.

The role will be a hybrid role with home and office working. Office working will be at County Hall, Exeter.
