The post is required to support the delivery of a significant transformation programme for Public Health Nursing. This is a challenging but exciting period of change for Devon County Council as we work ever more closely with the NHS and other delivery partners.
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our transformation team to support the programme for a fixed term of 12 months. The programme has a number of workstreams, and transformation projects focused on improving the performance and delivery of the service, procurement of a new clinical system and ensuring the service and its supporting functions and processes are designed around the needs of children, young people and families. This is an exciting role where you will be part of a small team, working with many partners, delivering an ambitious change programme
We are looking for a Business Analyst with:
- Experience of working with users to understand their requirements.
- Ability to interface between business and IT
- Experience of delivering projects or business change initiatives
The work will include:
- Development and management of business cases
- Process analysis, design and ongoing management
- Requirements gathering, interpretation and management
- Development of options and feasibility appraisals
- Solutions design
- Supplier liaison
- Analysis of system and digital tool capability and functionality
- Design of communications with service staff and other stakeholders
- Aspects of training design and execution
- Workshop facilitation
- Creation and management of service and project documentation
- Creation of tender/procurement documentation
- System testing
