Through out Step In Apprenticeship Programme we have an excellent opportunity for the right candidate. We are recruiting for a Business Administration Apprentice to join our People & Culture Directorate.
Starting in May, the duration of the apprenticeship contract will be 20 months. The apprentice will work towards a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship. This will be supported by a combination of training and practical work experience.
This role will be hybrid between in our office at County Hall in Exeter and home working. As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work across People & Culture. Which will include:
- HR Support Services
- HR Operations
- Health & Safety
- Recruitment & Retention
- Organisational Development
- Payroll
Your varied role will provide you with a broad understanding of the People & Culture Directorate and enable you to provide administrative support to different activities and initiatives whilst gaining your apprenticeship qualification.
We offer a highly competitive starting salary of £24,027, 26 days holiday, flexible working arrangements, training and entry into a pension scheme.
Applicants should be:
- Keen to learn and motivated to succeed
- Able to organise time and workload to handle different tasks
- Keen to work with colleagues at all levels across the Human Resources Service
- Interested in learning more about human resources and local government, and how it might meet your future career aspirations
- Willing to provide excellent service to the people of Devon
- Of suitable academic ability i.e., minimum qualifications of grade C/4 GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
