We live our mission and return to this constantly to help guide every action. At the heart of all we do is the pursuit of excellence; we want to grow an exceptional Trust, comprised of excellent schools. We are achieving this through our shared core values of collaboration, community, integrity, equity and of course uncompromising excellence.
We are truly collaborative and we work together within, and across, our schools to ensure that all our children and members of staff achieve their potential. Together we work to create a full and rich curriculum allowing everyone to flourish – we translate our vision of excellence into our everyday practice. We are proud of our outcomes, but we aspire to achieve more than just academic excellence for our children. We also want our children to become healthy thinkers, curious explorers, caring citizens, knowledgeable participants and confident individuals.
Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School is a school that prides itself on our Christian values and aims to ensure all of our pupils feel happy, secure and valued and enables them to make a worthwhile contribution as young people within their community. Our school provides a gateway for children to discover, explore and learn in a caring environment. Childhood is a magical and wonderful time: our pupils follow a varied and active programme designed to give them the opportunity to build confidence and learn everything they will need for their future.
Our vision for Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School reflects the Church of England vision of education for ‘letting your light shine’. As a school family, we share a passionate commitment to learning and recognise the uniqueness of individual learners. Our vision is driven by our desire to offer the best possible education for our pupils in partnership with parents and the local community.
At Buckland St Mary Church of England Primary School we seek to be a community where all are welcome and encouraged to take their place, regardless of our differences. We encourage hard work and perseverance and we expect everyone to strive to do their very best for themselves and for each other. Our entire community is made strong through collaboration: learning from one another, supporting one another and challenging one another. We want our lives to be crafted by the teachings of Jesus and the way we work together to mirror His love: patient, kind and never-failing. (1 Corinthians 13)
The vision for our school is underpinned by theology. Our school Bible verse is found in
John 10 v 10: 'That they have life, Life in all its fullness’. Put simply, we want all our children to experience all that the world has to offer, to know their importance within it and to be a beacon of light for all that is good. We guide them to recognise the light that their talents, gifts, character and acts of kindness can shine into a dark world, making it a better place for all those around them.
Winsham Primary School Is a 'small school with a big heart'. We aim to inspire our children to branch out and explore – to learn with joy, curiosity and enthusiasm, and to strive for excellence in all they do. We help to grow children’s wisdom, knowledge and skills – inspiring a love of learning and developing independence and resourcefulness. We promote the value of community and living well together, both at a local level as well as with our global neighbours. We encourage the children to recognise the interconnectedness of all life and the importance of belonging and stewardship.
WInsham's vision "One community where we cultivate, grow and flourish together," Is underpinned by The Parable of the Sower, Matthew 13: 1-23. Where the good soil gives the seeds exactly what they need to put down deep roots and grow Into a happy, healthy plant. We want the same for our children, we want to ensure that they cultivate roots, rich In character that will empower them to grow and flourish. We want them to leave school with the ability to ensure the ground Is good for others to grow and flourish In the same way they have.
Our value of equity leads us to want the very best for every child and every member of staff. The Academies for Character and Excellence believe in ‘personal growth for all’ and we are committed to tackle inequalities and overcome disadvantage, and to provide bespoke opportunities for professional learning for all.
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional, ambitious Assistant Headteacher to join our team. The successful candidate will not only inspire and support at Holy Trinity, Winsham and Buckland, but will also join a group of passionate leaders to further develop our organisation together.
