Location: Some work will be required at our Newton Abbott offices.
We are seeking a self-motivated finance professional to join our Integrated Adult Care Finance team as a full-time Assistant Accountant. This role is ideal for an effective communicator with strong interpersonal, IT, and analytical skills. A solid understanding of accounting principles is essential, along with the ability to organize and prioritize conflicting workloads to meet deadlines and deliver key outputs accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide budget management support for Adult Care budgets.
- Contribute to system and process improvements.
- Lead an efficient financial management support service for budget holders and management groups.
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive finance function for a volatile and challenging service area.
- Ensure systems and operations are in place for financial forecasting and modelling.
