This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Ambassador Volunteer Programme, supporting a network of Ambassador Volunteers throughout Devon.
This role works closely with both Devon Information Advice and Support for SEND (DIAS) and Parent Carer Forum Devon (PCFD). DIAS are the statutory service providing impartial information advice and support for children and young people with SEND and their parents. This will require excellent verbal, written and digital communication skills, the ability to develop strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, and excellent organisation and time-management. Experience with managing volunteers and project delivery will be an advantage.
The AV coordinator reports to DIAS and PCFD and is line managed by the DIAS Manager. The role requires an ability to work independently and flexibly including occasional evenings and weekends, with an ability to travel across Devon.
