After School Club Leader - West Hill Pre-School

We are looking for a kind and caring individual to join our team.
Our busy and popular Pre-School is open Monday to Friday during term time only. We also run a very successful after school club on Mondays and Thursdays from 3.15pm to 5.30 pm, which we are looking to expand. You would be working under the supervision of our Pre-School manager to provide the highest quality early years provision for children of pre-school age.
We provide outstanding standards of childcare and education by providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment to enable the emotional, social and educational development of children, through individual attention and group activities. We use a range of tools to continuously monitor and review activities and individual children's progress.
To be successful in this role you will have experience within a childcare setting, and you will readily be able to show your energy aptitude and enthusiasm for this. Be committed to maintaining the highest standards in childcare and education, take a keen interest in every child's progress and ensure that the planning is interesting and exciting for the children who attend After School Club.
You will need to hold a recognised Level 3 childcare qualification, e.g. Level 3 Certificate for the Children and Young People’s Workforce or Children’s Care, Learning and Development – or be working towards completion, and have a positive approach to completing relevant short courses and qualifications.
