Administrator - All Saints Thurlestone C of E Academy (Learning Academy Partnership)

  • Multiple Locations
  • Multiple Terms
  • NJC Grade D (Torbay): £10.19 – £10.39 per hour

Required as soon as possible.

To support the growth of our School Trust, The Learning Academy Partnership has an exciting opportunity for a highly organised Administrator to join us, based in the beautiful South Hams!

Lying at the heart of our community, Thurlestone is framed by the stunning backdrop of the coastline and surrounding villages.  As a small school there is a real sense of community where we aim to ensure that all our children have the best start in life and can flourish in all they do.

Through working together as a Hub with our sister schools, Charleton and West Alvington, and as part of our wider School Trust, our colleagues benefit from opportunities sometimes only afforded to large schools such as training.

We are looking for someone who shares our values to join our committed team for 3 days per week (with potential to increase in the future), working to ensure that we serve our children and communities to the best of our abilities.  This role lends itself to someone who has a wide range of administrative and interpersonal skills, who can be calm whilst prioritising their work and can communicate effectively at all levels.  No day will be the same and you will be involved in all areas of school life, alongside a highly caring and supportive team. This post is initially fixed term.

Our School Trust is underpinned by our four core beliefs; we are stronger together; a sense of belonging; removing barriers and realising the possible. This means that by working collectively, we can achieve our absolute best to ensure that children, especially the most vulnerable, can flourish.

We can offer you:
● The opportunity to make a profound difference to children’s lives
● The chance to work as part of a collective in a valued-led School Trust, a single organisation
● A culture that takes work life balance extremely seriously for all its colleagues
● The potential for future career development through our excellent development practice
● Access to a 24-hour Employee Assistance Programme
● Trust benefit schemes including a Tech Scheme and Cycle to Work Scheme
● Generous Local Government Pension Scheme

All our schools are each at the centre of their local communities and celebrate their individuality and distinctiveness. A core feature in how we work as a School Trust is our collective approach in delivering an exceptional education for all children. We do this through working very closely together in mutual support and challenge to empower excellence for our children, families, and the communities that we serve.

In short, our ethos is one of working together to Empower, Excel, Together.

We want to support you in deciding if we are a School Trust that you would like to join. We strongly recommend that you arrange a visit or virtual call so that you can better understand if we are an organisation which excites you and can support you to flourish.
