Learning Support Assistants (2 posts) - Newtown Primary School

Required to start 1 September 2022.

We are looking to recruit highly committed, hardworking, enthusiastic and innovative Teaching Assistants to provide outstanding support for quality teaching and learning. You need to be cheerful and creative with a flexible approach and have the ability to be a good team player.

As part of our team, you will be committed to making a significant contribution to the success of our school. You will have high expectations of children’s learning and an excellent track record of positive behaviour management.

Post 1 is required to work 1:1 with a linked child with complex medical and learning needs. This post is linked to a named pupil and the post will cease if the linked child leaves the school, or no longer required special needs assistance.

Post 2 is fixed term for one year, to maintain the staffing requirements pending a review of the school staffing structure.
