This is a fixed term position for 12 months (dependant on funding)
Are you child focused, hard-working, resilient, self-motivated, innovative and committed to development in order to engage students with huge potential? We are looking for a colleague to work alongside our existing team that is humble, resourceful, and creative. They never hesitate to go the extra mile.
Would you enjoy supporting children and young people, many with complex needs in Maths or English, or in cooking, outdoor education, Duke of Edinburgh, vocational college courses and work experience as we are looking to recruit.
A flexible, calm, solution focused learning support assistant, who will support and mentor our brilliant and talented, but at times complex children and young people who have a range of needs
If you recognise that you possess these qualities, then you could make a real difference to our students. Whilst previous experience in specialist education is desirable, it is more important to our community that you have strong values, preferably ones that align to our own – don’t worry about the skills – we’ll support and nurture them.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
