The Cornerstone Academy Trust is responsible for Broadclyst, Westclyst and Yeo Valley Primary Schools. The Trust utilises its Academy freedoms to deliver an enriched and exciting project-based, problem-solving curriculum.

Based in Broadclyst, we are seeking to recruit a dedicated and professional Librarian who will work with children of all ages across our schools. We are looking for someone who loves books and reading, has a good knowledge of children’s literature, and has a desire to assist children progress in their reading skills throughout their time at primary school. The postholder will use an online resource management system so must be proficient in the use of IT.

Required as soon as possible, the post is permanent. Normal hours of work will be Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm, with an hour for breaks during the day.

The salary allows for progression within the role in line with our appraisal and professional development processes.

You will have access to a health scheme, a cycle to work scheme, the Academy Café which provides at cost food and be part of a team of librarians where support and professional development is a key aspect of the role.
