Relief Social Worker

An exciting new Social Workers relief bank is being implemented in Devon County Council's in-house temp bank, Temp Solutions.

The casual placements we have are for experienced Social Workers and it is expected that candidates would have acquired at least one year relevant post-qualifying experience prior to joining. Placements can take place in any of the following:

Within Children's social work:
- Assessment, Child Protection & Wellbeing
- Fostering
- Adoption
- Permanence & Transition Service
- The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)
- Level 2 Teams
- Integrated Children's Services

Within Adults' social work:
- Adults
- Older People
- Mental Health
- Learning Disabilities

Our placements will vary in length. We are unable to guarantee placements throughout the year. The placements can be in a variety of locations and dependent on where is suitable for you, we would try to match you with a convenient placement wherever possible.

We have friendly supportive teams and will provide you with a well planned induction and daily support from management and your peers.

We require candidates to have GSCC registration (soon to be HPC), a social work degree (or equivalent), at least 1 year post qualifying experience and 5 continuous years of references.

Temp Solutions can only offer a PAYE payroll and cannot engage Relief Social Workers on a self employed basis.
