Relief Approved Mental Health Professionals

An exciting new Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) relief bank is being implemented in Devon County Council's in-house temp bank, Temp Solutions.
The casual placements we have are for experienced AMHP's with post qualifying experience in mental health work and a good working knowledge of a range of mental health problems, including co-morbid, drug, alcohol and personality disorders. Excellent assessment skills are a must, as are well-developed critical thinking skills. It's also vital that you can call on safeguarding (adult and children) and specialist risk assessment experience.
Our placements will vary in length. We are unable to guarantee placements throughout the year. The placements can be in a variety of locations and dependent on where is suitable for you, we would try to match you with a convenient placement wherever possible.
We have friendly supportive teams and will provide you with a well planned induction and daily support from management and your peers.
We require candidates to have an AMHP warrant, a GSCC registration (soon to be HPC), a social work degree (or equivalent), post qualifying experience mental health work and also 5 continuous years of references.
Temp Solutions can only offer a PAYE payroll and cannot engage Relief Social Workers on a self employed basis.
